Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Morgan Reardon and Blake Bieg
Traverse City has something for everyone — wineries, beaches, an abundance of cherries... you name it. But don't take our word for it, hear from the people who've been! Each friend picked their go-to spot below, so follow their lead or ignore them completely — Traverse City won’t disappoint either way.

Morgan's Pick: The Flying Noodle

136 East Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49684

This cozy pasta spot keeps things simple—and delicious! Morgan and Blake are both obsessed with the Alfredo + Crispy Chicken, so we honestly can’t vouch for much else on the menu, but we are confident it won't disappoint. Oh! Don't skip the garlic dots, but skip any kissing you plan on doing after. No reservations—just throw your name in and stroll downtown until it’s your turn.

Blake's Pick: Hop Lot Brewing Co. & Beer Garden

658 South West Bay Shore Drive, Suttons Bay, MI 49682

Blake’s happy place. Picnic tables, live music, outdoor games, plenty of beer, and a ton of merch he doesn’t need. There’s even a little beach area for the kids (and Kevin). Casual, lively, and the perfect spot to hang out. Rumor has it there might even be an officially unofficial after-party here on Saturday…

Sydney's Pick: Riding Electric

10381 East Cherry Bend Road, Traverse City, MI 49684

If you know Syd, you know how much she despises walking. That’s why her Traverse City recommendation is Riding Electric, the go-to spot for electric bike rentals. It’s the perfect way to explore the TART Trail, a scenic path that winds along the bay with stops at wineries, breweries, and local gems. Pro tip: Use the battery wisely… or prepare for a very humbling ride home.

Harley's Pick: Cherry Republic

154 East Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49684

If Harley had it her way, the entire wedding weekend would be catered by Cherry Republic. Located right in downtown, this store is a cherry-lover’s dream (and a budgeter’s nightmare). Think cherry salsa, cherry wine, cherry popcorn, cherry soap… you get the idea. Between the generous samples and the adorable merch, it’s the kind of place you “just pop into” and leave with full intentions of baking a cherry pie.

Ciara's Pick: The Parlor

205 Lake Avenue, Traverse City, MI 49684

As expected, Ciara's pick involves a gorgeous cocktail, tasty apps, and the perfect ambiance to play a few rounds of Monopoly Deal. Meet The Parlor TC! Be sure to order the espresso martini and say yes when they offer to grate parmesan cheese on top right at the table. It's like Olive Garden but way way better!

Taylor's Pick: Espresso Bay

202 East Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49684

Coffee is crucial, and Espresso Bay is the perfect place to pop in for a boost. Their menu has it all—from seasonal sweet treats to classic lattes—and if you don’t believe us, just ask Tay, who’s tried just about every drink. She’s also entered their $100 gift card giveaway at least four times, so if luck’s on our side, the next round is on her!

Ryan's Pick: The Filling Station Microbrewery

642 Railroad Place, Traverse City, MI 49686

Ryan's pick is a Traverse City classic! Housed in an old train depot, it’s the closest Ryan will ever get to public transportation. All outdoor seating, big tables for groups, and every type of pizza and beer you can imagine. This train only makes one stop: to flavor town.

Jack's Pick: Kilkenny's

400 West Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49684

Jack's pick for a late-night stop. Kilkenny's has live music, stays open late, and serves drinks - so it checks all his boxes. He's call it an Irish-themed bar, not a proper pub, so he wouldn't recommend the Guinness. A great spot to close out the night - or lose track of time entirely.

Kevin's Pick: Peace, Love and Little Donuts

441 East Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49686

Peace and love is great, but have you tried adding donuts? Kevin loves a sweet treat after a hard day’s work at the brewery—and Peace, Love and Little Donuts delivers. These mini donuts are warm, fresh, and you can eat at least 14 of them for it to technically count as one regular donut.
