7:00 pm
Casual: (Almost) anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees. Speedos not encouraged, however.
It's a long journey to the island, so you'll have earned a drink by the time you get here! We're planning on being at BaRaki, near the main square in Chora. Chora is the picturesque central village of the island and it was here, over dinner at one of the taverns, that we decided that one day we'd be back on the island for our wedding. Feel free to drop by for a cheeky one (or two), for as long or as little time as suits! We will have a couple of tables booked.
6:30 pm
Semi-Formal: Y'know, suits and dresses and stuff
The ceremony will not start until 7pm but please allow at least 20 minutes to get to the chapel - it's a bit of a walk! If we've got our timings right, we should be tying the knot as the sun sets, allowing also plenty of time afterwards for selfies and gazing at the view. DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERAS!
8:00 pm
To reward you for safely navigating your way down from the hill, there will be a quick "re-hydration" stop at Punta, a natural veranda overlooking the sea with stunning views. Those who trip, fall or otherwise injure themselves on the way down from the hill, you will be offered liquid medicinal treatment at Punta, a natural veranda overlooking the sea with stunning views.
9:00 pm
After the emotional and physical exertion, we will have earned ourselves a feast. The venue is a traditional Greek taverna with views of the chapel on the hill. Once our bellies are full, and we've all plucked up a bit of dutch courage, we will party hard on the dance floor. Until "late".
12:30 pm
Beach Attire: You're on a Beach... Speedos not encouraged, but less frowned upon than earlier events.
If you are not travelling early on Sunday, join us at the beach as we will try to navigate our way through the hangover. Red eyes and banging headaches are mandatory. We will have coffee, fruit and (if anyone can stomach it) perhaps some hair of the dog. Paracetamol also.
