No! Camping is fun. River Bend is very well equipped and you can buy things like ice, firewood, some food and even fancy beer and wine on-site. There is also a decent diner next door: The Russian River Pub is open from 11am-9pm daily. We will have chairs available for people coming from afar. Let us know if you need cooler space or something else we aren't thinking of.
No, shared bathrooms are centrally located. We will assign cabins to make sure that older people and people with little kids get priority to be closest to the (very nice) bathrooms/showers.
Please wear something that will make you feel beautiful and comfortable in an outdoor setting. Think riverfront/redwood grove, casual, fun and/or ridiculous if desired. High heels are probably a bad idea.
Bathing suit/river shoes/flip flops. The beach is river stone. Toiletries: soap/shampoo etc. Quarters for the arcade/showers: You can change small bills at the arcade/general store. Sun protection Reusable water bottle (water spigots throughout the campground with good drinking water) Warm stuff for night time/sleeping Headlamp/Flashlight Breakfast/lunch/snacky stuff For those in cabins, 4 towels per cabin will be provided. Campers should bring their own. If you have them: beach blankets/camp chairs/small cooler/floats for the river! No dogs/pets please
No, Covid sucks! *Please plan to take a home Covid test prior to arriving in Forestville. We expect everyone to use proper precautions and to be fully vaccinated (or test/mask/socially distance) prior to attending our wedding. We are excited to have an outdoor event so we can hopefully all relax a bit. If a pandemic-related closure necessitates re-scheduling, our deposit and any payment that you make toward your lodging will be transferrable to a later date.
Yes! We chose this venue because it is super family-friendly with lots to do with people of all ages. There are playgrounds, arcades, games and room to run free, but don't plan on playing any air hockey, as Chris will be bogarting the table all weekend. There are free life-vests for playing in the river. Please plan on supervising your kids at all times. Hopefully, we will be able to find a local babysitter or two for Saturday night.
No, sorry. Bride and groom request that you not bring any pets/dogs.
