Wedding Party

Nicole Rossi

Bridesmaid

Best friends since the 1st grade, our first argument was Backstreet Boys vs. Nsync. Our parents moved into the same neighborhood, and we started 2nd grade together in the same class at our new elementary school. Growing up we did everything together including wearing matching Limted Too outfits, playing viola, family beach trips, and playing lacrosse. In 2017, we became official roomies and lived together for two years in Philly where we both met our future husbands!

Allie Verna

Bridesmaid

Allie & I went to high school together and had a lot of mutual friends, however we never truly hungout until we were up in Happy Valley! We had our first apartment together as young adults, throwing as many themed party as we possibly could. After living with me for 3 years, she still wasn't sick of me and we both moved to DC to start our careers. Between PSU tailgates, bottomless brunch in DC, and our weekend getaways, I would love to know the number of mimosas we have consumed between the two of us.

John Rodden

Best Man

John and I have been friends since we were young kids tearing up the streets of Villanova. Our love of Rock music throughout the years has created an inseparable bond from our first concert seeing the Chili Peppers to the countless summers sweating our butts off at the Warped Tour in Camden. It also led to us having our own band (No Outlet) where we toured the local PA music scene throughout high school. John has continued down the musician track and is now playing many local restaurants and wineries.

Chris Cowan

Groomsman

Chris and I went to grade school together and we don't know how, but magically became great friends in the 6th grade. Countless weekend nights were spent in my parents basement watching movies, playing video games, and listening to music. To our disappointment, even though we played a lot of the same sports, we never seemed to be on the same team. Halfway through high school, Chris moved to West Chester but that didn't stop us from hanging out and making the treacherous long walk to his parents backyard pool. Now Chris can be found in his own basement mixing up custom horoscope candles featured on Amazon.

Colleen Dolan

Bridesmaid

Colleen has always been the most adventurous of the Dolan siblings, as most youngest children typically are. From a young age, although Sean loved to torment his younger sisters, he also found out that Colleen was tough and would always find a way to get him back. As an adult, Colleen is still adventurous and tough, putting us all to shame by waking up early on beach vacations and doing hard workouts in the family room as we all roll out of bed. While you might think this means Colleen also went to bed early, she out-parties all of us too. Colleen has always been a supportive sister and as Sarah has become apart of the family she has seen this and is so excited to have Colleen as a bridesmaid for the wedding.

Kayla Murphy

Bridesmaid

Kayla and I played lacrosse in the same league when we were kids. However, anyone who knows Kayla knows she is a fierce competitor on the field so there wasn't much time for chatting. Once high school came around, we started having classes together and eventually became friendly. Senior prom and senior week sealed our fate as drinking buddies for life. Countless college visits, beach trips, and throwing parties when our parents were away led to us being Philly roommates circa 2018 when I met Sean.

Shane Stewart

Groomsman

Shane was a quiet kid growing up or at least that's what we thought. What we didn't realize was that I was so talkative, that Shane couldn't get a word in. At least until we tapped into our competitive sides at the kitchen table playing games. Shane and I both love board games and this was a huge part of our childhood. From Guess Who to Mancala to Rummy to Monopoly to Clue to Settlers of Catan, we've played a lot of competitive games. Which helped Sean fit perfectly into the family when he first started hanging out with the Stewart's in 2018. After countless game nights, Sean is so excited to finally have a brother and have Shane in his wedding party.

Matt Ternowchek

Groomsman

Sarah was so happy to meet Katie's then boyfriend now fiancé when she first started dating Sean, because it was nice to have someone else to relate to in the mix with the crazy Dolan family. Matt is a huge golf fan, which is great for Sean because he has gotten more into golf in the past few years and Matt give Sean lots of free golf tips! In October of 2021, Matt reached out to us both letting us know that he was going to be proposing to Katie and we were so happy. We are both in Katie and Matt's wedding and we can't wait to help them celebrate spending forever together and having them with us on our big day as well. If we can't find Matt at the wedding towering over the crowd, we may need to check the local golf course for a groomsman escapee.

Kyle Septor

Bridesman

Flash back to my 21st birthday: I'm excited that two PSU students who I was interning with offer to go out on a week night, only to discover one of them is going to complain the entire time that we had to stay out so late. This was one of my first memories of Kyle. Despite his complaints, Kyle and I maintained our friendship by adhering to a strict 11:30 AM lunchtime and a daily text message routine with Kyle asking if his outfit matched (he is color blind). 8 years later, we tend to start our plans early but are also able to stay out late.

Valerie Kwasniuk

Bridesmaid

Val and I hit it off instantly when we met at a networking happy hour in 2018. So instantly that when I invited Val to a Galentine's party I was hosting, Val asked to sleep on our couch and it was only the second time I had met her! It was then and over the next few months that several people would assume Val and I had been longtime college friends and we would laugh because we just got along really well. Many weekend trips, hours of coaching GOTR, and nights out later, Val and I can now confirm that we're great long-term friends.

Steve Howell

Groomsman

Steve and I were roommates sophomore year of college. We didn't know each other well, but we were paired up through mutual friends. We found out that we both loved to ski, hit the gym, play sports, and more so we bonded a lot throughout the first year of living together. Once pre-junior year came around, we decided to room together again. Sometimes we would go up to the Poconos on the weekend to ski if we weren't too busy having fun at house parties. Although Steve is a New York sports fan, and I'm a Philly fan we still managed to have a blast at the Flyers vs. Islander games. Steve is quiet, like me, but watch out when Pit Bull comes on because Steve is his #1 Fan!

Katie Dolan

Bridesmaid

Rumor has it that the middle child in a family often gets lost in the shuffle. However, that was never true with Katie because she did excellent in school and in Irish Dance, always keeping Sean on his toes to do his best academically and in sports. Sean didn't mind Katie's talent for Irish Dance, especially when both sisters went to World Championships in San Diego and he got to tag along for a fun vacation. Being the most studious in the family, Katie worked very hard but was also always very caring and this led her to become a nurse practitioner. Katie always answers the family medical questions and brings everyone together, whether that is hosting events at her apartment or organizing the family for activities. We can't wait to have her as a part of our big day!

Mark Piehl

Groomsman

Colleen introduced her boyfriend Mark to us at a big family event: our Survivor backyard challenge which featured a lot of athletic competition, puzzles, and drinking. We quickly realized that Mark fit right in. Mark is a funny guy, if you hear strange noises coming from the dance floor like "yip!", it is probably Mark just having a blast! We never thought anyone could out-talk Colleen, but Mark certainly gives her a run for her money. Whether its a game night, family dinner, or beach trip Mark always brings positive energy to the party. This is why we knew we needed him in our wedding (also to Chaperone Colleen!!!).
