Music on Main is a free concert that happens every Thursday night during the summer. If you're here on July 22nd, consider grabbing some dinner in Victor and heading over to the City Park for a really fun musical evening. Or, get food at the food trucks and vendors at the concert. Beer and wine and kombucha are available for purchase. This is a zero-cup-waste event, so bring your own cup to drink from or be prepared to buy or put a deposit down to use one for the night.
Every Friday morning in the summer! Check out a few of the local farmers and artists in downtown Driggs.
Take a hike! Teton Canyon has great views of the mountains, and a few nice (and flat) trail options.
Take the ski lift to the top of Fred's mountain for great views ($15 a person). Then, you can hike down mountain on the ~ 3 mile Bannock Trail for a lovely downhill stroll through wildflowers, or take the lift back down. You can also hike up and down the Bannock Trail, for a more rigorous hike, or mountain bike some world class single track around the resort!
A really amazing way to see the Tetons and this beautiful valley! There are several outfitters, but we've linked the most highly recommended one here. We recommend booking this in advance of the wedding weekend to secure a ride.
There are a couple spots that are easy to access on the Teton River. Great for bird and wildlife viewing! The big eddy (aka Rainey Bridge) and the Bates River Put-In are two good access points with use trails along the river. You can also float for a couple of hours on the river, if you're looking for a lazy afternoon activity. Moose spotting is very common when floating the Teton! We've linked a place where you can rent stand up paddle boards, rafts or kayaks for the river, here.
Nothing beats breakfast at Badger Creek Cafe! An awesome and affordable menu, a bottomless coffee cup and a Dolly Parton music station are a few of the things we love about this place.
A great place to grab coffee and a delicious breakfast burrito, avocado toast or pastry. It has a lovely coffee garden to enjoy as well. Usually there is free live music in the garden every Sunday in the summer from 9am- 11am!
This is the best Mexican food in Teton Valley! Great, affordable a la carte food and very friendly service.
Need a grocery store? A liquor store? Want to explore restaurants in Teton Valley, or maybe a brewery or vodka distillery? Driggs is your place. Victor (located south from Driggs about 15 minutes on highway 33) has more places to eat and drink as well.
Every Friday night during the summer in Driggs. It's $10 a person to watch our local community cowgirls and cowboys put on a fun show at the fairgrounds. If you want a taste of the old school ranching community in Teton Valley, this is an authentic and fun experience!
For a small fee, you can soak at hot spring pools at Green Canyon. A very family friendly place. Located about a half an hour from Tetonia, ID.
The historic Tetonia Club is the oldest bar in Teton Valley, built in 1912. Owner Scott Kauf has made the space into a work of art! Enjoy the unique atmosphere and cocktails at this bar and its outdoor beer garden.
We love this new, locally brewed cider spot. The brewery has cute indoor/outdoor seating, with games and snacks available. Their cider is delicious!
One of the 3 breweries in Teton Valley, Idaho. Some classic beers here, and nice outdoor seating.
For between about $40 and $60 you can have the hilarious experience of dressing up and getting yer old timey photos taken. While a little pricey, they are awesome souvenirs (see ours under the photo tab). Worth calling for an appointment, since Jackson businesses get booked up quick in the summer months.
We live just over an hour from Grand Teton National Park. If you haven't been, you should visit! The town of Jackson Hole is a fun day trip to take, as well.
We are about a 2 hour drive from the nearest edge of Yellowstone National Park. It's a beautiful, wildlife and geyser filled park, and certainly worth visiting!
