Allison and Tessa met in elementary school and became best friends in 6th grade. They have been on many adventures together, from hanging out at the local creek in Palo Alto to exploring the Swiss Alps. Since middle school they have both always had a passion for crafting and playing card/board games together, which they still do every time they see each other. They also share a love for cats!
Charley Foxx
Best Man
Charley and Dave (and Tessa) met working in wilderness therapy in Utah. They became instant friends and bonded over a shared love of fishing. They spent many days together in Pine Valley, fishing pockets in the creek and climbing the canyon walls. Even though they live on opposite ends of I-5, they still make an effort to spend quality time together, often involving Thanksgiving... and fish.
Vanessa Pan

Vanessa and Tessa have also been friends since elementary school. In middle school they shared a love for music and with Allison created their rock band, The Fink. The trio went on to write over a dozen songs and perform many gigs around the Bay Area. Vanessa still writes her own music and now lives in Guadalajara, Mexico.

On June 22nd, Rae will have been Dave's sibling for 31 years, 3 months, and 17 days, or 11,424 days, or more simply, from the day Dave was born. Growing up, they each had mischievous spirits which were accentuated when in each others' presence, leading them to found a club solely based on pranking. Though the pranksters club is (somewhat) behind them, Dave and Rae still find time to visit and remain close though they currently live on opposite ends of the west coast.
Liz Levy

Liz and Dave met at Northwaters in 2009 and worked as wilderness canoe trip leaders together over the years. In 2014 Liz also met Tessa when she came to the island, and then spent 35 days instructing the Northwaters Leadership Development Course with Dave on the Albany River in Ontario. Both Tessa and Dave consider themselves very lucky to have Liz as a friend in their lives.
