Please contact Sereena Ojakian at 650-387-9027 on the day of our wedding. She will answer questions, take care of concerns, and route necessary communication to us.
Yep! We got word that a tornado flattened the Union Canal Tunnel Park a couple weeks ago. We were saddened by this news, but now we are happy to announce our new venue: Quittie Creek Nature Park. Please drive in from the north side on Bachman road and park in the first lot so we can reserve the closer lot as handicap parking and loading/unloading.
Our motto is "look nice, be comfortable." The wedding party will be in ties/bowties, vests, chinos, dresses, etc. Please wear whatever feels comfortable for you given the weather (we're looking at 75º and partly cloudy right now), so no need for sport coats-- dress shirts are fine, ties are optional. Dresses, skirts, fancy pants, whatever you are excited to wear!
Ceremony: Please drive in from the north side on Bachman Rd and park either in the first lot or find street parking in the residential areas. There is a second lot that we would like to leave open for those who need it and loading/unloading. Keep in mind that this is a public park so other folks might be using the space as well. We encourage you to carpool as much as possible - if you would like to contact other guests staying near you, let Sereena know. Reception: There is a large parking lot on the back side of the farmers market (access from 9th street & Chestnut). We will have signs posted to mark the way to get from the back door of the market to the 3rd floor reception room at the front of the building. Parking is free and time limits are not enforced on Sundays so feel free to leave a vehicle overnight if needed.
Please RSVP by June 1st. If you already replied to our save the date, you can still RSVP on the website to add dietary restrictions, song requests, et cetera, or to change your status.
Yes! We are planning on celebrating in France on August 31, 2019. We also hope to host a party in San Diego, probably in the fall.
We will have a few other activities during our wedding weekend such as hiking in Mt. Gretna. Details are posted on the schedule page.
We are opting for a vacation rental in Mount Gretna, but if a hotel is more your style the Hampton Inn has a block of rooms reserved until May 15th. Head to the travel tab for details.
Many of our guests are staying in different locations, therefore we are not providing a shuttle service. There is ample parking at both the ceremony and reception locations. We encourage you to carpool with other guests and/or take a lyft home if needed.
Please let us know about any food restrictions so we can plan accordingly. We are planning on both meat and vegetarian options, and our caterer will happily provide other options upon request. You can let us know about dietary restrictions via the RSVP tab or by email.
We've done our best to include guests and children in our invitations. If we've missed something, please let us know. Partners, dates, and children are welcome - we just need the RSVP to reflect that.
The summer solstice in Lebanon brings us historical averages of highs in the low 80s and lows in the high 50s, with humidity and a chance of thunderstorms. Our suggestions: bring summer clothes, light layers, a rain jacket and/or an umbrella to be prepared for anything.
Yes, we are currently registered at Williams Sonoma and hope to add more soon. We like cooking a lot, but also want to add to our adventure kits! We would also greatly appreciate cash gifts, which can be sent directly to us or brought to our wedding (we currently do not have an online cash gift fund). Remember, coming to our wedding is the greatest gift of all, so please do not feel obligated to bring anything.
