John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA)
John Wayne airport has three different names (John Wayne, Santa Ana, and Orange County), but it is by far the closest and best airport to fly into near us. A slightly smaller airport, there are not a lot of direct flights, but may be worth the layover since it is only a 20 minute drive from us.
Flight
Los Angeles International Airport
LAX is by far the larger airport and offers many more direct flights. However, LAX is about 40 miles from us, which means that at the best of times it is an hour drive to us (11am -2pm) and during rush hour, this drive is easily 2.5 hours long (8-10am, 3-7pm). Fridays are especially bad, so if you choose this route, please plan accordingly!
