Question

Are you requiring your guests to be vaccinated?

Answer

Yes. Our guests' health and safety is of the utmost importance to us, so we kindly ask that you attend only if you are fully vaccinated.

What COVID precautions is the venue taking?

Answer

The venue will check vaccination cards at the door, so please bring a physical or digital copy of your vaccination card. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside on the grassy lawn. For the indoor reception, all the windows and doors will be open to provide maximum ventilation (with indoor heating to keep the temperature comfortable), and 7-8 HEPA filters will be positioned throughout the room to clean the air.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered through Zola. To view our registry, please click on the "Registry" tab on the wedding website.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We sure do! Our recommended hotel is the Hyatt Regency Westlake. For more information, please look at the "Travel" tab of the website.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is semi-formal: floor length gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the Lodge no later than 3:45 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Lodge has limited parking. We recommend taking the shuttle (more details below).

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we are providing a private wedding shuttle to pick up our guests at the Hyatt Regency Westlake and take them to the Lodge at Malibou Lake. The shuttle will depart from the Hyatt Regency Westlake at 3:30pm, and pick guests up at the end of the evening at 10pm at the venue and return to the Hyatt.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As much as we would like to celebrate our special day with everyone, the Lodge has limited capacity. We can only accommodate the individual(s) named on the envelope.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children – thank you for your understanding.
