As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. However, we know that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Saturday picnic! If you'd like to get some information on local babysitting services/options please reach out to Dan or Terri. One service we have heard good things about is https://www.eventnannies.com.au/
Welcome to Melbourne, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be unpredictable! During the day, we're hoping it will be reasonably warm (the average high is around 24 degrees). The average low overnight is 15 degrees. But as the Australian band Crowded House noted, Melbourne is known to have 4 seasons in one day so be prepared for anything!
The dress code is cocktail/semi-formal
The location is an old dairy farm, with grassy/ uneven areas so stilettos may not be a good option
Our wedding ceremony and afternoon mingling will be outdoors (weather permitting) while the dinner, speeches and dancing will be indoors
We're asking guests to arrive at 3:15pm for a 3:30pm start to the ceremony
We've listed some potential accommodation options under the Travel section. Unfortunately there are fairly limited options nearby the venue itself, but you may be able to find some additional gems on AirBnB. One of the charter buses will be running from the Melton Motor Inn (which has a range of rooms available), and the other from Southern Cross Station in the CBD which is near lots of accommodation options
If driving to Warrawong Estate there is plenty of free parking on the property near the entrance to the wedding venue
They will be kicking us out at midnight, with the two charter buses departing shortly afterwards
Ideally we'd prefer you didn't as we'll have a professional photographer to capture the moment
Having you at our wedding is the greatest gift of all :) For traditionalists, there will be a wishing well on the day
