We are working with Sparks Travel Agency to help all of you make flight arrangements. While there is a $50-$75 fee in addition to the flight cost, it may be worth using them as they coordinate directly with our wedding planner. In addition, they do your check-ins, manage changes, etc. See the above link to inquire about flights with them. *No need to enter all the personal information* However, anything between $350 - $499 is a good deal to Guatemala.

This is a beautiful and fantastic hotel that features a great restaurant. Please be aware that many of the rooms fit only 2 people.

This is a huge hotel/resort that is a fairly long walk to the center of the city. However, it is very modern with great reviews. (It was one of our top wedding venue choices too).

AirBnB

Antigua is loaded with AirBnB and house rentals. This is probably the best option cost-wise and the majority of homes are beautifully decorated with Spanish items. Many of the homes feature a rooftop terrace with views of the volcanos. If you want to be closer to the center of town, book near the famous Arc of Santa Catalina at the intersection of 2a Calle Poniente and 5a Avenida Norte.

Traveling between GUA Airport and Antigua

The best and safest way to get from the airport to Antigua is to contact our wedding planner team at: Denise@weddingsinguatemala.com Cost is $46 per person round trip. HIGHLY recommend not to rent a car, use a taxi, or Uber because of safety reasons and the fact that our wedding planner is in direct coordination with the transport company so we will know when and where you are!

COVID-19 Tests

You will need a COVID-19 test prior to returning to the United States. Our wedding planner is scheduling and coordinating the saliva tests so that you get tested at the Welcome Event on Thursday November 4, 2021. The price is $42 for a saliva test or $40 for a nasal test per person and you can schedule with Denise@weddingsinguatemala.com.
