Do we need COVID-19 tests?

You will need to get a negative COVID test regardless of vaccination: 1. To attend the events: Please present proof of a negative COVID test at the door prior to the Welcome Event or Wedding Ceremony. Our Planning Team will be checking everyone into the building. You can get a test done prior to leaving the USA and use that. While this isn’t a hotel or Guatemalan law, Teresa and I feel this measure will further reduce risk. 2. To return to the USA To return to the USA, you will need a negative COVID test at least 72 hours prior to the flight (this is mandated by the US President). There are plenty of options such as the airline tests or finding a COVID testing site in Guatemala. The EASIEST way is to schedule a test with our planning team: The price is $42 for a saliva test or $40 for a nasal test per person and you can schedule with Denise@weddingsinguatemala.com. Our planning team will schedule you for a test in Antigua within the time needed according to your return flight.
