All reservations must be made directly with our travel agent on the following website: https://www.kjworldtravel.com/teresaandjohnwedding . All guests must stay at one of the three resorts (which are on a shared property), for a minimum of 3 nights. Generations is the kid-friendly resort, while El Dorado Royale and El Dorado Casitas Royale are both adult-only properties. Our room block is from 2/24/27 - 3/1/27 to accommodate guests who would like an extended stay. If you'd like to extend your visit further, you can request that through our TA at the website above, and she will request an extension to our group rate. We recommend flying into Cancun airport on or before Thursday, February 25th, 2027. If arriving on 2/25/2027, please try to book an early morning or midday flight, as we plan to have a welcome event on the evening of the 25th! Transfers from the airport to the hotel can be made directly through our travel website (listed above + on the "travel" tab).
The wedding is @ (time TBD) on Friday, February 26th, 2027. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. The ceremony will be held at the Pier and will be followed by a cocktail hour at Palapa Ganesh. The reception will start @ (time TBD) at the Sky Deck at Generations. Please note: the elevator to the Sky Deck is small, which can cause delays. Please leave yourself enough time to get to the Sky Deck for the start of the reception!
We ask that you wear beach formal attire to our ceremony! We encourage you to not wear shorts/short dresses (but understand if you need to run to your room between the ceremony and reception to change into something that will keep you cool enough to stay on the dance floor!). Please wear white beachy attire to the welcome party (not to be confused with the wedding... please don't wear white to the wedding lol).
The Welcome Party will be on Thursday, February 25th @ (time TBD). Location TBD. We ask that you wear white "beachy attire" for the welcome party!
Passports generally take about 6-8 weeks to come in. This can be delayed for multiple reasons. We recommend getting your passport ASAP. If you already have a passport, please make sure it is up to date!!!
Yes! Song requests can be made in advance when filling out your RSVP on this wedding website. Please note: our DJ will not accept song requests day-of - sorry :(
Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have a great photographer & promise to share photos after! Feel free to take photos on your personal device at the cocktail hour & reception (but we encourage everyone to remain present + let our photographer do their thing). As kindly as possible.... please be mindful we want to enjoy quality time with you + each other without phones in our face throughout the night!
