Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Teddy Marrufo and Keith Garcia
Chicago is a wonderful city (even Keith thinks so). Here are some of our favorite places in the city for you to check out. This list is not exhaustive but has some great staples. They're spread throughout the city. If there's something you're wanting to do in particular, we're happy to provide more recommendations.

Shedd Aquarium

1200 South Dusable Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60605
, (312) 939-2438

This is where Keith proposed to Teddy. Aquariums are something we both love visiting and have been a big part of our love story.

Willis Tower

233 S Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60606
, (312) 875-9447

This is a Chicago staple. Natives will only ever call it Sears Tower, even if its new name is the Willis Tower. We've visited this place with loved ones.

John Hancock Center

875 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611

The John Hancock Center has beautiful views of the City of Chicago. This is another place we've spent time with those we love.

Millennium Park

201 E Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60602
, +13127421168

Millennium Park has so many beautiful Chicago attractions. Cloud Gate (The Bean), Buckingham Fountain, Crown Fountain, and lots of green space. You can wander downtown Chicago enjoying the beautiful architecture and lakefront views.

Navy Pier

600 East Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611
, (312)595-7437

Navy Pier is home to food and entertainment with beautiful lakefront views. You can take a water-taxi between here and the Museum Campus.

Portillo's & Barnelli's Chicago

100 West Ontario Street, Chicago, IL 60654
, (312) 587-8910

Chicago is known for its food scene and its Italian Beef is top of the list. Check out this quintessential Chicago food spot.

Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

410 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611
, (312)858-5600

This is a house divided when it comes to pizza. Teddy being a Chicago native will tell you that tavern style Chicago pizza (not necessarily deep dish) is the superior pizza. Keith disagrees with him but since you're in Chicago here is our recommendation.

Paseo Boricua

2450 W Division St, Chicago, IL 60622

You all know just how proud Keith is of his Puerto Rican heritage. Chicago's Boricua enclave is in Humboldt Park. Flanked by Chicago's landmark Puerto Rican Flag Arches Paseo Boricua - N California & N Western Aves. along W Division St - is a strip of Puerto Rican food and art.

Gallagher Way

3635 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60613

Gallagher Way is located in Wrigleyville, the center of tons of food and adjacent to the historic Wrigley Field.
