6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
Please stop by anytime between 6:30-9:30pm to kick off the festivities with the happy couple! This is a very casual, low-key event, where you can relax and hang out with our families and friends. As a heads up, parking is very limited, so we recommend ride-sharing apps (e.g., Uber, Lyft) or carpooling with other guests.
10:00 am
Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.
We are excited to share traditions from Zeva's Jewish heritage with all of our guests. This event will start promptly at 10:00am, so please plan to arrive at 9:30am. Happily, there is ample parking at Ariel-Foundation Park, and ushers will help you make your way to the SEC venue.
11:00 am - 1:30 pm
Lunchtime refreshments will be available at the Park following the Jewish Ceremony and prior to the South Indian Ceremony. The purpose of this break is to allow guests time to return to their rooms, change clothes, and/or explore the greater Ariel-Foundation Park and surrounding Mt. Vernon and Gambier areas.
1:30 pm
Cocktail Attire (see Jewish Ceremony) or Indian Formal Wear: Sarees Encouraged
A Baraat (pronounced "bah-raht") is a groom's wedding procession, and is most common in North India and West India. We will be doing a small, modified Baraat drawing on these traditions. All guests will gather at the SEC at 1:30PM, and then any and everyone associated with the Groom's side of the wedding will walk a short distance away from the venue (along a paved path). Then a Dhol - this refers to a type of double-headed drum that is widely used, with regional variations, throughout the Indian subcontinent - will start a rhythm and the Baraatis will dance their way to the venue, where the Bride's side will greet and host them.
2:30 pm
Cocktail Attire (see Jewish Ceremony) or Indian Formal Wear: Sarees Encouraged
We are excited to share traditions from Jagadish's South Indian heritage with all of our guests. The Indian Ceremony will start immediately following the Baraat, by 2:30PM at the latest, so please be sure to be seated at the SEC by this time. This ceremony is typically longer.
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
We will have cocktails available at the Park following the South Indian Ceremony and prior to the Dinner & Reception. The purpose of this break is to allow guests time to return to their rooms, change clothes, and/or grab anything else they may need for the rest of the evening.
5:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Cocktail Attire (see Jewish Ceremony) or Indian Formal Wear
Dinner will start promptly at 5:00PM. We plan to serve a South Indian Buffet, and will be sure to clearly label and explain the food that is served. Most importantly, come prepared to dance! Zeva and Jagadish are VERY excited to pack in as much dancing as we can before the park closes at 9:30PM, so be ready!

Just got your second wind? Didn't hear your request on the dance floor? Looking for another drink, or maybe a late night snack? Torn between an Irish goodbye or riding this train to the last stop? Keep the party going with the happy couple at Stein Brewing Company (SBC), located in downtown Mt. Vernon (a 4 min. drive or 20 min. walk from the Park, close to all hotels). Feel free to stop by on your way out, stay a while, and/or skip this event altogether; we won't judge!
