Hotel

Steamboat Grand

2300 Mount Werner Circle
Steamboat Springs, CO 80487
 (970) 871-5500

The Steamboat Grand blocked off most of the rooms for a covette convention the same weekend as our wedding, how rude!! One way around this is to just call and say that you’re with the “Vettes on the Rockies” group and ask for their room block rate. The Steamboat Grand is a beautiful hotel located at the Steamboat Springs Ski Resort. This is where we will be staying! They have an awesome salt water pool, as well as full resort amentities. It is just across the street from the gondola, which will bring you up to the wedding and receoption! Woo! The link below (click the view button) provides discounted rates. Book early as it is a popular time of year to travel to our lovely mountain towns.

Hotel

Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas

2200 Village Inn Court
Steamboat Springs, CO 80487
 (970) 879-2220

The Sheraton is on-site at Steamboat Springs Ski resort, meaning it's walkable to the Gondola (which is where you'll ride up to the wedding/reception). It's a very nice hotel, with rooms priced a little lower than the Steamboat Grand. Additionally - for those of you who use Marriott/Starwood points, they are accepted here!

Travel Note

AirBnB and VRBO

AirBnB or VRBO are great options, and there are so many beautiful homes in the Steamboat area! When choosing a location in town, it's best to stay close to the Steamboat Grand Hotel and the Steamboat Springs Ski Resort gondola. The gondola can take you to the wedding and reception.

Travel Note

Other Places to Stay

There are plenty of other hotels in the area, so pick the one you like best! Just make sure you have a way to get to the gondola for the ceremony and reception. There is a free bus in town, many hotels have shuttles, and you can always taxi :)

Flight

DIA (Denver International Airport)

From Denver you can get a shuttle or make the drive. It's about 3 hours from the airport. Go Alpine offers a shuttle from DIA directly to Steamboat Springs. Find timetables here www.goalpine.com/dia There's also a bus (it takes about 5.5 hours that way!)

Flight

Yampa Valley Airport (HDN)

Look here first. It's a quick taxi ride into town and they seem to have several affordable direct flights! This airport near Hayden, Colorado will let you skip the shuttle or rental car and save 6 hours. It looks like they have non-stop flights from Chicago and flights from NY and SF. You'll land about 25 miles east of Steamboat.

For all the days along the way
