What covid safety precautions will you be taking?

Answer

We’ve been carefully watching the decline in Covid cases over the last few months. As we all learn to live safely amidst the virus, our concern remains how to minimize the risk of getting and spreading the virus. For the safety of all our guests, we request that each person test 48 hours (at-home tests or administered tests - either is fine) before attending the first wedding event on Friday or Saturday. We will not ask that you provide results, only that you please refrain from attending if you test positive or if you are not feeling well. At-home test kits are available at Walgreens (near the Marriott South Park) located at 4701 South Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28217 (704.523.3227) We will provide a limited number of test kits to be held at the Marriott for our guests. Masks are optional.

What is the venue like?

Answer

Everything will take place outdoors - the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The reception will be covered by a tent, and the only thing that will be indoors will be the food stations and the bathrooms.

What is the dress code?

Fun & Festive Cocktail Attire. We love color and encourage our guests to express themselves as they wish with color, sequins or, of course, glitter.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Yes! Please join us for an afterparty at the Marriott Southpark where we’ll keep the party going with music, games and dancing! Transportation will be provided from the reception to the Marriott, which is adjacent to the AC Marriott. We hope to see you there! - 10:30-11:30pm: Open bar - 11:30pm-2am: Cash bar

What should I do if I have any dietary restrictions?

Please let us know when you RSVP. There will be a variety of food options that can suit all preferences, restrictions and allergies.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We adore your children, but respectfully we've chosen to have an adults-only ceremony and celebration. We are grateful for your understanding. If you need to hire a babysitting service in the area, please let us know two weeks in advance and we’ll be happy to help.
