We are so excited to celebrate with you!

We’ve been carefully watching the decline in Covid cases over the last few months. As we all learn to live safely amidst the virus, our concern remains how to minimize the risk of getting and spreading the virus. For the safety of all our guests, we request that each person test 48 hours (at-home tests or administered tests - either is fine) before attending the first wedding event on Friday or Saturday. We will not ask that you provide results, only that you please refrain from attending if you test positive or if you are not feeling well. At-home test kits are available at Walgreens (near the Marriott South Park) located at 4701 South Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28217 (704.523.3227). We will provide a limited number of test kits to be held at the Marriott for our guests. Masks are optional.

December 2017 unfolded with unimagined magic for Jordan and Chelsea when they began talking on The League dating app. Chelsea would like everyone to know that she messaged Jordan first ;) After 10 days of messaging, Jordan asked Chelsea out on a date. Chelsea was unfortunately leaving for two weeks and was nervous that it would kill the buzz. Not so! In fact their messages grew to novel-lengths. They went on their first date hours after Chelsea landed back in Charlotte - December 30th, 2017. Jordan and Chelsea planned to meet for a drink at The Broken Spoke cocktail bar. The drink turned into five hours of fun together and the best date of their lives. They decided to get together again two days later on New Year's Day and were pretty much inseparable ever since. Jordan moved in with Chelsea (and Luke and Leia, the kitties) in April 2018 and they then moved into a bigger place together in June 2018.

Amidst traveling, adulting, spending time with friends and family, going to DJ shows, going to the beach, watching sunsets, and playing with their kitties, they fell more in love every day. They realized how unique each was to the other, and that they'd found their best friend and soulmate.

In December 2019 Jordan and Chelsea traveled 41 hours to Bali, Indonesia. Jordan surprised Chelsea with an amazing afternoon - a couples' massage, cocktails in a private infinity pool, and a very special walk on the beach at sunset. During that walk, Jordan found a secluded area to setup a phone for, what Chelsea thought was a photo, but was in fact a video, which captured the next several moments of Jordan getting down on one knee to ask Chelsea to marry him. He was a little nervous but the nervousness quickly went away as she was beyond happy and excited, and immediately said yes. They were filled with pure joy of this new commitment to each other and their relationship, and couldn't wait to start this new chapter of their lives together as husband and wife. They're so excited to celebrate this special day with you!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well. Our venue at the beach unfortunately fell through so we are moving the date & location again and our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. We have moved the wedding to our hometown of Charlotte, NC and our new date is Saturday, April 30 2022. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!

With all the uncertainty that has filled this year, we decided to elope and got married on the beach on Saint Helena Island on October 1, 2020 - the same spot where we'll renew our vows in 2021 in front of our friends and family. We are so happy to be married, and can't wait to celebrate with all of you at our wedding in 2021!

To all of our loved ones - we hope you and your families are staying safe, healthy and comfortable during this time. We have decided to postpone our wedding to 2021. We want to ensure your safety, health and comfort; and we want to celebrate with you all, dance together, and hug each of you. We remain hopeful that things will be much better next year. Please note the new date, time and location - October 1, 2021 at 6:00 pm, at Fripp Island Resort on Saint Helena Island, which is about halfway between Hilton Head & Charleston.
