Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Dress is cocktail or Sunday best attire. (ladies dresses or pantsuit, men dress shirt/tie/jacket.

How far is the hotel from the wedding?

Answer

It is 12 miles from hotel. Plan on at least a 30 minute commute as there are many traffic lights and you may hit traffic. We do encourage you to use UBER, LYFT or Taxi if you plan on drinking.

Question

Should I stay in Rock Hill or Charlotte instead?

Answer

There are other hotels in Rock Hill that you can stay in close to the interstate, Michelle & Buddy live in Fort Mill area and the proximety to Charlotte is easier from Fort Mill, plus the area is nice. Though Charlotte is close, the drive with traffic may be unpredictable (Charlotte has 1 million people). If you want to stay in Charlotte, look for Southern part of the City (SouthPark, Pineville, Ballyntyne). Anything north of Uptown Charlotte will put you into road construction and traffic.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception is next door to the wedding venue. When the wedding is over you will be escorted to the reception area for cocktails and snacks, then dinner and dancing to follow.

Can I bring children?

Answer

Although we love your children we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. We hope you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us!

Can I bring additional guests?

Answer

Unfortunately guests cannot be accommodated, please restrict the attendees to your party to those who are listed on your invitation. We wished that we could have accomodated all of our family and friends; however, our budget is restricted. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at TealUsAboutIt@gmail.com or Michelle at 803.934.3839 prior to March 1, 2020.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. We will be providing beverages to our guests, and ask that you drink responsibly and do not drive (Uber or Lyft). Also, our servers are truly amazing, so we do hope that you too will show appreciation by tipping.

Question

I'm an out of town guest, will there be a welcome dinner?

Answer

Yes, we have made arrangements at the Hampton Inn to use the York Meeting Room for a Welcome Dinner. The Welcome Dinner will be casual (Jeans, Shirt, Shoes, etc.). We will also have use of the patio area, weather permitting. We plan on hanging out with you and enjoying the evening.
