This cute little town is a 10 minute drive from the chateau - perfect for a quick bakery run

Bourdeilles

Perigueux is a 30 minute drive from the chateau, and definitely the closest "big" town. Littered with Michelin restaurants. NEED I SAY MORE

Périgueux

A lovely day trip option (1h21m drive from the chateau) - looks *worth it*! CN Traveler ranked this as one of the cutest small towns in France.

Saint-Émilion

1h37m away - entire town is red-bricked (literally called France's "red brick town")

Collonges-la-Rouge

Ok... 2hrs from chateau, but GOOGLE IT. Stunning. Another CN Traveler find & probably the town we are most excited to explore
