The closest airport to fly into will be Reno International Airport (RNO) which would be about an hour away. 

Another option would be Sacramento International Airport (SMF) which is a little over 2 hours away. 

There's a shuttle you can schedule from Reno to State Line (South Lake Tahoe) for $32.75 one way or $59.50 for round trip.
