Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We can't wait to see you in your best! The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color, or a shirt and tie. Also, for women to wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit. All events will be indoors. We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing whites, beiges, or anything that can be seen as white!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guest arrival starts at 3:30 pm. Our ceremony begins promptly at 4 pm. We ask that you arrive with plenty of time to park and get comfy in your seats before we start the event! If you arrive once the ceremony has started, you will not be allowed in until after it's over. We can't wait to see you!

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

YES! We love and care about each and every one of you. We want to make sure you get home safely. If you plan on drinking at the wedding, please, Please, PLEASE do not drive. There will be a shuttle to and from the Tru by Hilton Raleigh Garner. Ubers are also fairly cheap since the hotels are close. Or, if someone isn't drinking and is willing to carpool, that is also an option. If you plan on utilizing the shuttle to and from the hotel, please let us know in your RSVP!

Question

What's an "unplugged ceremony"?

Answer

In short, no phones or cameras during the ceremony, please! We promise that there will be plenty of photo opps throughout the day, and that our selfie game is strong! We have opted for an unplugged ceremony for our big day. We want our guests and families to be present in the moment with us as we commit our lives and love to one another. We have hired some of the best people to take photos and video and want their work to shine.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking will be available across the street from The Distillery. There will also be available parking on the streets in Downtown Garner. Signage and an attendant will present to assist in the parking process. Carpooling, using the shuttle, or use of Uber is recommended. Hey, we're all family, so use carpooling as a way to get to know each other! Please note that all cars must be removed from the parking lots by 10am on Sunday 11/2. Please be safe and mindful of your parking decisions. We love you all and want you to be safe!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love each and every one of your munchkins, and wish we could have all of them there, we have opted to limit the number of children under 18 at the wedding. Children who have been invited will be clearly noted on the invitation. We thank you for your understanding and hope that you can make it an adults night out and join us in the party!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Plus ones are also clearly noted on your invitations. We love that you want to share in the celebration, but are limited in those we can share this day with. Thank you for your understanding!
