If you have a free afternoon before or after the wedding, its worth the drive inland. Valle De Guadalupe is considered one of Mexico's best wine regions - it is often considered the country's answer to Napa - producing the majority of Mexico's wine and home to more than one hundred wineries spread across rolling, vine-covered hills, along with some of the best farm-to-table restaurants in Baja. It's about 45 minutes from Las Gaviotas, mostly along the coastal highway before turning inland towards the hills. You can hire a driver (we know several) that can take you from Las Gaviotas to the Valle. A few of our favorites are Le Chuza, Adobe de Guadalupe, El Cielo, F. Rubio and some great restaurants are Deckman's, Finca, Fauna.
