The Reno/Tahoe International Airport is about an hour from Twenty Mile House. Flights arrive from all over the country every day and there are several car rental options.

Situated an hour north of Truckee on Highway 89, this venue is more secluded than the surrounding towns and quieter compared to Lake Tahoe or Truckee. Graeagle is the closest town, which is a 15-minute drive. Due to limited food options, we highly recommend bringing groceries and snacks from a larger town.

Semi-formal or formal attire, but feel free to reach out to the couple if you have any specific questions. There is a variety of terrain. Stiletto heels are not recommended.

Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding venue?Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes! Shuttle service will be provided for guests staying at Nakoma Resort and Whitehawk Lodge to and from the wedding venue on the wedding day only. If you plan to stay somewhere else and would like to enjoy a few drinks, we recommend arranging a local taxi or car service for your return. (Uber's and Lyft's are not available in this area) Please let us know where you’ll be staying so we can share transportation options with you. Onsite parking will be available for guests who choose to drive.

Although we love your little ones, our wedding ceremony and reception are an adult-only affair. Children are invited to attend the Welcome Party on Wednesday.

The reception will be spotty, so we recommend enjoying the outdoors and being surrounded by friends and family!

Welcome to California, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here has a large range, especially at altitude. During the day, the weather should be sunny in the 70's but can get chilly at night dropping into the 50s. Make sure to bring a jacket for the early mornings and evenings!
