If you are flying in from out of state, it will likely be easiest to fly into Denver International Airport and rent a car. Our wedding venue is approximately 1.5 hours west of the airport. We recommend staying in Lyons or Estes Park, Colorado. There are shuttles that go from the airport to Estes Park but they are similar in price as a rental car. Lyons is a cute mountain town that does not have any large hotel chains so we would recommend checking out Airbnb or vrbo options. Estes Park is the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park and a charming town to spend time window shopping or getting outdoors. If you prefer a mountain experience over staying in one of our recommended hotels, there are many cabins available in the area as weekend rentals. Our wedding venue is at an elevation of 8,500 ft. If your schedule allows it, we highly recommend arriving in Colorado a day or two early to acclimate to the elevation.
