Where is the rest of the wedding website?

We are working on finalizing a lot of details right now but wanted to make sure we had travel information available for our guests that will be coming from all over the country to celebrate with us. Check back closer to our wedding for all the official wedding details.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Great question! What the weather in November will do is a bit of a mystery even to us that live here. However, our venue is up at elevation and Allenspark historically has November temps in the 40s. There is about a 50/50 chance that there could be snow. We recommend checking the weather before you pack and bringing layers.

What is altitude sickness?

Answer

We know many of our family members will be coming from all over the country often from places of low elevation. Altitude sickness happens when your body struggles to adapt to the lower oxygen levels at high altitudes. It can happen to anyone, regardless of age, fitness level or experience. We ask that you keep the following recommendations in mind so that we can all have a great time celebrating together in the mountains: (1) If you have the ability, travel to Denver or Estes Park a day early and allow for your body to adjust to the altitude. (2) Stay Hydrated!! This is especially important if you consume alcohol during your trip. (3) Take time to rest if you need it. We would prefer nobody passes out on the dance floor.
