Our go-to dive shop on the island. If you're a certified diver, we recommend doing a 2-tank morning dive at least one day. Belize is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world. Down at 60 feet deep you will see turtles, sharks, tons of fish, and much more! Even if you're not a certified diver, Belize Pro Dive offers PADI Discover Scuba Diving, where you can learn the basics of diving in a pool, and then venture out inside the reef at shallow depths. It's that easy! If diving is not for you, Belize Pro offers snorkeling in Hol Chan Marine Preserve, where you can see tons of marine life. You can also go fishing where you can cook up what you caught for lunch on the beach! Please mention the Miller/Cappa Wedding for a 20% discount on local activities, and 10% for offshore.
This not so secret (anymore!) spot is a great party spot. If you don't mind a 30 minute golf cart ride, you will be in for a treat. Beer buckets, margaritas, and more, you can sip a drink while sitting at a picnic bench in the water, or lounging on a beach chair. Bring a bathing suit and towel!
A favorite bar! Just a 5 minute golf cart ride or 10 minute walk from Grand Caribe, this spot has a full bar, food trucks (pizza, Latin American, Malaysian/Southeast Asian, ice cream), a pool, and games! Jackie loves to get the Shrimp (El Diablo) tacos, and Taylor loves the conch pizza. Try the spicy margarita!
Don't want to leave the resort? No problem! You can hang at the pool, get a massage at the spa, rent kayaks, grab a bite to eat at the pool, and sip a margarita while floating in the water at the swim up pool bar. There's a ton to do: Grand Caribe has two restaurants on-site: Rain (local food) and Aqua (sushi). Get the grouper at Rain!
Feel like exploring? Grab a golf cart or taxi and head into San Pedro (watch out for one way streets!). Downtown San Pedro has three main streets (we call them front, middle, and back street). Park on Front Street (on the ocean side), and walk around. Grab some ice cream, or a coffee, and walk around town, and enjoy! On Front Street a pretty park called Central Park is a great place to hangout, and is where the big San Pedro sign is!
