White Water Rafting

1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Adventures on the Gorge
219 County Route 60/5, Lansing, WV 25862

Did you know the New River is said to be the second-oldest river in the world? Over millions of years, its white water has carved the New River Gorge and left us with large shelf drops and boulders–a perfect combination of waves and hydraulics that make for world-class rafting. A group has voiced interest in rafter the New River! We are booking the Lower New River Rapid Run 1/2 day. This trip is designed for those who want to experience the excitement of the Lower New River, eight miles long, runs through 17 rapids ranging from Class II-IV, but with less time on the water! Must be 12 years old. Trip lasts between 2 to 3.5 hours. If you are interested, RSVP "attending" and claim your spot by calling Adventures on The Gorge with reservation #467965. If this doesn't sound like your jam, other people will be enjoying more land-based activities during this time.

The New River Gorge Preserve
Red Oak Road, Fayetteville, WV 25840

Join us at The New River Gorge Preserve for our sharing of vows with an amazing view of the New River Gorge bridge! The ceremony will begin at 10:00 am. We want you to be comfortable but no denim, please. Directions: Google Maps does not send you to the correct place if you use the name of the overlook. Use "Red Oak Road" then follow the signs once you enter the gate! The ceremony space has a small gravel path leading to the overlook. When arriving, you'll park at the "trail head". Please carpool as much as possible due to limited parking. Grab a cup of coffee and take in the gorgeous views!

Reception

11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Bridge Brew Works
335 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, West Virginia 25840

Bridge Brew Works is located 9 minutes from the ceremony. We will meet here for brunch, games, and cake! Since this is a brewery, we cannot provide alcohol for our guests but it will be available for purchase. We have the space to ourselves until 1:00 p.m., then it opens to the public, but hang around with us if you'd like!

For all the days along the way
