About Our Venue!
The Ceremony will take place in this beautiful one hundred and thirty six year old chapel nestled in the heart of the sprawling grounds of Fairmount Cemetery. Originally built in 1890, the chapel was built in the style of 13th century Ecclesiastic High French Gothic Revival. The Little Ivy Chapel was added to Denver's Historic Landmark registry in 1976.
Despite the fact that the chapel was built with sandstone, a material that has had a bit of trouble holding up to the sometimes harsh Colorado weather, it still boasts a gorgeous silhouette within the cemetery grounds and was known originally as the "Mortuary Chapel".
Before the ceremony, make sure to check out the gorgeous stained glass windows inside the chapel as well as the breathtaking architecture of it's exterior!
