Flight

Flying In To New York

New York is blessed with three major airports. Of the three, LaGuardia (LGA) and John F Kennedy (JFK) are the closest to this weekend's events and activities. Newark (EWR) could also work — it's just a little further away.

Travel Note

The Streets Of New York

The DUMBO Loft has parking available for guests, as do the Tillary and Hampton Inn Brooklyn. But even without a car of your own, you'll be able to navigate Brooklyn by foot or by calling cars via the Uber and Lyft apps. If you don't have Uber and Lyft, download them before your trip!

Train

Taking The Train

New York is a city built on an extensive network of railways! You'll be able to take public transportation to Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood from any airport. • From JFK, take the AirTrain to the A train and get off at the Jay Street-MetroTech Station in Downtown Brooklyn • From LGA, take the M60 SBS bus to the N train and get off at the DeKalb Ave Station in Downtown Brooklyn • From EWR (this one is a bit trickier) you can take the NJ Transit Bus to New York's Port Authority, and then take the C train to the Jay Street-MetroTech Station in Downtown Brooklyn As is so often the case, Google Maps will always give you more accurate directions in the moment, as will any gruff New Yorker you happen to share a train with.
