Both the ceremony and reception will be at The DUMBO Loft, a venue space in Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood. DUMBO is high accessible via public transport, and there is also parking nearby.
We have a whole page all about accommodations (see "Travel & Accommodations" above). But in short: We have two hotel blocks, each one a short walk from the venue in DUMBO. You can book a room in either the Tillary Hotel or Hampton Inn Brooklyn Downtown. If booking at the Hampton Inn, use group code 93C. (No code needed to book at the Tillary, just follow the link!) However, if you have another place in mind, feel free to book your stay anywhere in the city. As long as you can easily access Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood, you'll be in a good spot!
We don't have a honeymoon on the books yet, and we probably won't actually take one until sometime in 2026 (but maybe a Mexico City mini moon will be worked in before the new year). The good news: we are open to suggestions! Let us know where you think we'd enjoy honeymooning.
No, the cat will stay in our apartment for the weekend. He's not really the party type — even though he always looks like he's wearing a little tuxedo. Speaking of...
Of course, our top priority is that you're comfortable! However, if you'd like to fit in with the majority of guests, we suggest you aim for formal attire for our ceremony and reception. That means a jacket and tie and dresses on the longer side (it might be cold on this November Brooklyn evening!) For more details and inspiration, see the Weekend Events tab.
We're still putting together our registry! When it's ready, you'll be able to peruse a small list of items we need that will also fit in our small-but-homey Brooklyn apartment. Stay tuned.
New York is blessed with three major airports. Of the three, LaGuardia (LGA) and John F Kennedy (JFK) are the closest to this weekend's events and activities. Newark (EWR) could also work — it's just a little further away. (For more details, see "Travel & Accommodations" above)
We're planning on sending out official wedding invitations in July. By that time, this website will have a section where you can RSVP, tell us what you'd like to eat during the reception, etc. Until then, don't worry about a thing!
