Directions to the Venue

The cell reception is spotty and there is no wifi at the venue, so please prepare in advance to have printed or saved directions (see below pdf link). ONCE YOU ARE IN RAMONA: (whether via Highway 67 or Highway 78) proceed as follows: Head EAST on MAIN STREET (proceed through town). [CAUTION - IF GPS TRIES TO SEND YOU TO CESAR DRIVE, DO NOT FOLLOW IT (as that is an unmaintained dirt road and very confusing), rather proceed as explained below]: TURN RIGHT on 3RD STREET. When 3rd Street veers to the Left, it BECOMES W. OLD JULIAN HWY. Stay on W. OLD JULIAN HWY for a little over a mile, then... Turn LEFT onto E. OLD JULIAN HWY (note: if you stay straight by mistake, it becomes Vista Ramona Road, and you will have to turn around). E. Old Julian will curve around a bit, and when it straightens out, just PAST the 3.5 mile marker and PAST the large ranch, you will see CAMINO VISTA on the left (by a long row of mailboxes) TURN LEFT onto CAMINO VISTA. Travel past the cow pastures, then TAKE the FIRST RIGHT (a private road). Proceed over a little metal bridge...the road will make a turn to the left, then follow it all the way back as it ends at Hidden Oaks. UPON ARRIVAL AT HIDDEN OAKS, take a LEFT, HEADING DOWNHILL toward the oak trees. Once near the trees, VEER LEFT again and you will start to see the venue area. Park anywhere down in the closest parking lot and we will meet you near the little wooden bridge. NOTE: For estimating your travel time, you may use the address of 19121 Camino Vista Road, Ramona. Flight

San Diego Airport

If flying in and out only for the wedding weekend, we'd recommend the San Diego Airport (SAN) as it is closest and a two terminal airport with lots of options. If you are going to Orange County or Los Angeles at any point there are 3 other options from south to north they are: 1. John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA) - relatively small and convient if visiting the Tarantino's 2. Long Beach (LGB) - very small, one terminal airport, super easy starting point 3. Los Angeles (LAX) - large and crowded, but many flight options

Travel Note

Ramona

Ramona is a small town inland from Escondido and Poway areas in San Diego County. The weather can be nearly 10 degrees hotter than along the coast. In October the Santa Ana winds may be starting, so there can be pollen and allergens in the air. There is an Albertsons, Aldi and Stater Brothers in town to pick up groceries for any meals during the wedding weekend.
