Getting to Downeast Maine takes some effort, but is well worth it! 

You will definitely need a car, if you won't have one we can try to find you a friend! There are no taxis or carshare services on the Blue Hill Peninsula. 

There are various options to get from airports to the Penninsula: 
1 hour from Bangor, ME 
3 hours from Portland, ME 
5 hours from Boston

We strongly encourage you to book accommodations as early as possible since there are limited options and it's a holiday weekend. 

We recommend staying in Blue Hill, Sedgwick, Brooksville, Penobscot, or Brooklin.
