WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

If anyone knows me, they know how "thrifty" I am. So, when Eric invited me to grab beers with him on buy one get one free drink night at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot downtown, I thought, wow, either "this guy's made for me" or he's a complete cheap ass. I quickly learned that he's the former. That following weekend he surprised me with tickets to the Broncos/Pats game and the rest is history.

Tara has always said she would know if a proposal was coming. For months I thought long and hard about the best way to catch her by surprise. After realizing anything I did was in vain, I decided to just cook a wonderful dinner at home for us two. She noticed our "puppy" Sarge being his normal cute self while we were cooking dinner and started snapping countless photos of him. I knew it was my time to act, I retrieved the ring and got on one knee. As she looked into the camera, she saw that this was not an ordinary photo, it was one that she would never forget. I essentially photobombed Sarge's glamour shot moment. Turns out I surprised her and she said yes! We cannot wait to celebrate with you all come September 27th!
