Travel Note
View here for directions to our venue by car; plus alternatives by bus, air, and combinations with local car rentals. We are truly grateful that you are coming to our wedding; we ask that guests treat Roxbury like a travel wedding as logistics require some planning. From New York City to Roxbury is a 2.5-3 hour drive. Service can be spotty, but most establishments (rest stops, restaurants, etc.) have wi-fi, so pre-load directions before departing. Hotel options in the area are limited, but there are many amazing Airbnbs as the Catskills is a popular upstate vacation destination.
Hotel
NOTE: This location is the most convenient, but also the most in-demand, so we highly recommend booking early if you prioritize proximity to the wedding! This is the primary hotel in Roxbury Village and has rooms and suites that can house single guests through parties of ten. It's been featured on social media for its over-the-top themed decor, but it's also a short walk to a waterfall, and a two-minute drive to our venue.
House Or Rental
There are many beautiful, cozy Airbnbs in the Catskills ranging from five to twenty minutes away from the venue. We've created a list of some of our favorites from visiting the area as well as recommendations from locals. Many bnbs offer comforts that make a Catskills trip truly special, including hot tubs, saunas, and fire pits. (Some are even dog-friendly!) If you want to enjoy nature with modern amenities, these bnbs will more than provide!
Hotel
Thirty minutes from Roxbury is Oliverea Valley, where "glamping" accommodations are available through Eastwind. During our stay, we slept in a lushna room -- all of their rooms are built into the woods, so you get a truly unique experience! They provide a ton of amenities including: a heated pool, saunas, nightly bonfires, and free, rentable hiking equipment, in addition to having a fantastic on-site bar and restaurant. If you're planning on staying in the area for a few days, this option is a pet-friendly woodland resort.
