We met through our love of guitar playing and have since enjoyed many home based jam sessions. In addition, our love of Classic Rock music results in many nights of relaxing and listening to albums from bands such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen and many more. Food and travel is also a central part of our relationship. Whether cooking together at home or traveling to new locations, anything that brings us together is very much appreciated.
Devin was born in Eugene, OR, spent his first 22 years soaking in this eccentric and hippie town. After completing his Bachelors in University of Oregon, he promptly moved to Bend for the weather and outdoor lifestyle. Tali was born and raised in Yavne, Israel, known as Israel's city of lights (it is said in a sarcastic way by Israelis). Yavne is located just a few kilometers from Tel-Aviv. After finishing her mandatory military service and her Bachelors Degree, she moved to the United States at age 26, over 13 years ago!
Devin loves all things outdoors including mountain biking, skiing, hiking, fishing and camping. Music has also plays a central role in his life including playing guitar and seeing his favorite bands live. In addition, seasonal trips to Autzen Stadium are always loved especially when they are spent teaching Tali about American football and hanging out with close friends. Tali loves Bend's summers, warm weather and beautiful beaches. Outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and walks around the river are always loved. Tali is currently learning to love winter time as long as she is kept warm (Devin does a great job supplying all things heated)! The love for baking has been a meaningful part in her life and career as she owned and operated a successful cake-pop business. You will never miss a home-made dessert in one of Devin and Tali's hosted dinners, which they enjoy doing often.
Devin has built his career within the music industry. In 2006 he began working at Breedlove Guitars, where he stayed for 12 years. In late 2018, he was offered a job as a national account director at Fender Music Co. where he works to this day. Tali graduated with her Master's in Teaching Degree in June 2022. She is currently an elementary school substitute teacher and working towards a full-time position at one of Bend's current elementary schools.
