We met in March of 2020, right at the beginning of the pandemic. As we can all remember, being locked down was extremely challenging for many of us. Tali just moved back to Ventura, CA in order to go back to school and Devin was living there for a few months. We were both craving a friend. Since we love playing the guitar, we did that together for a while. It was a nice surprise to realize we have a very similar taste in music: Pink Floyd, Beatles, Queen, etc. were and still are a big part of our relationship. We very much enjoyed each other's company, so much so that from guitar sessions we added delicious home-made dinners, then movies, then hikes and lots of traveling. When Devin mentioned there is a really good teaching program in Bend, OR, Tali agreed to visit Bend and check out the school. She was hooked and applied right away. The day Tali received the letter of acceptance was the day Devin got the approval for relocation back to Bend. To this day, we believe it was all meant to be. The stars aligned and here we are!
