Short North Arts District
The vibrant Short North Arts District is packed with amazing art galleries, quirky specialty shops and hip nightlife spots. This is the area where Matt and Carly spent most of their time eating and drinking in Columbus, and shopping. Make sure to get drinks at Lincoln Social Rooftop, lunch at Brassica, and ice cream at the original Jeni's location! If you walk north along High Street from the Hilton Downtown hotel, you will hit the Short North district.
North Market Downtown
The North Market is a year-round indoor farmers’ market with amazing global dining options, produce, handicrafts, flowers, and much more.
Scioto Mile
The Scioto Mile is a network of beautiful parks, trails and green spaces in the downtown area. Matt and Carly trained for their half marathons along these trails.
German Village
German Village is a neighborhood just south of the city center that is well worth exploring. If you visit the area, stop at Lindey's for a drink and appetizer, The Book Loft to see one of the largest independent book stores in America in a pre-Civil War era building, and Schmidt’s to enjoy a giant cream puff at the bar.
