I honesty can’t remember how I met peach, but we met in High School and decided to go to college together. She’s my right hand woMAN and my daughters God Mother. Jaylee absolutely adores her God mommy and knows whenever she comes around its going to be some kind of fun. We’ve been through the lowest of low times together and we’ve also celebrated occasions that have made our bond unbreakable. She’s one of few that I can call and I know she’d stop everything and come running to help me! I would do the same. My second pregnancy I dealt with adjusting to being a mom of two and through the adjustment she was by my side helping me and stepping up when I felt I had had enough. She’s always supportive and I couldn’t and wouldn’t want to imagine my life without her! Thanks for standing by my side!

She’s my left hand women (she’s a lefty) lol. Shonta and I met my freshman year of college. We both were members in an on campus organization and I think I was just socializing and asked her about wearing pink for a breast cancer event. We exchanged numbers and the rest was HERstory. They say you meet your best friends in college and I promise this holds true. College was literally our best days. Shonta and I hold some dear and secrete moments that only she and I know. Shonta also has been there for me in my most happiest and most vulnerable state and she’s never judged me for my actions. She’s literally my traveling left hand partner. She was by my side and helped me push through Jaylee’s delivery. She’s also the Godmother of our girls. We both are Gemini’s and we just get each other.

My big sis! My B2K concert partner lol. Sis use to let me sneak and drive and I remember she use to let me stay on the phone late nights growing up. I LOVE THE FACT that she is a woman with many hustles and talents. SIS BABYSITS, DOES HAIR AND SELLS PLATES OUT THE SAME HOUSE LOL. She stays to herself and is a busy mom to 3 of my beautiful nieces and nephew. I love the fact that sis doesn't have to be on the scene or in the forefront but you better believe she's working and helping me in the background some kind of way. I'm spoiled by her cooking and her breakfast food. She knows the way to my heart is through her banana pudding. I'm also so grateful that she handles the upkeep of my daughters hair because honey I just don't have the patience or nerves. I love you big nose!!! LOL

Mikey and I met in Memphis after I graduated college at my first big girl job. She was a colleague/manager turned friend. Mikey was there for me throughout my entire nursing school adventure. She’s seen me cry and ready to throw in the towel. She always encouraged me to keep at it! She’s also a wonderful mom to her two girls and she makes motherhood look so easy! Mikey and I talk at least once a week and it never fails that when we talk/FaceTime she’ll get a call and tell me to hold on knowing dang well the phone gone hang up on me LOL. She’s so inspiring and I’m proud of her especially this last year or so with her weight loss journey. This the girl that put me on the Olive Garden unlimited soup and salad lunch. Despite being 200 miles away she finds the time to still show up and support!

Mandy Pooh! My big little sister! We met in Middle school. We’ve literally been in situations that will always have our bond unbreakable (federal). She’s the glue that holds our mom squad friendship together. She’s truly the “mom” of the group. She’s sensitive sometimes but so genuine. She has a heart that’s loving, caring and naturally a nurturer. Amanda and I went through our first pregnancy together and before she could even tell me she was having twins I told her. Whenever we have disagreements she’s the type that doesn’t mind talking it out and if she’s wrong she’ll admit it. Amanda and I will talk about nothing some nights at 2am when I’m at work and she can’t sleep lol. If you need a good restaurant she’s the plug for good food/drinks. Thanks for always loving me despite my flaws!

The auntie/parliamentarian/order in the court friend. I’ve been knowing Crystal the longest. We actually met in elementary school and according to my elementary school journal she was my best friend. Situations, school and life in general separated us for a while but we got right back on track a few years ago. I’m so proud of this chic and everything she has accomplished. She sets goals and smashes them! She’s my goal friend!!! Crystal was the first to have a child and I’ve always adored how bad ass of a mom she has been. Crystal doesn’t mind telling you like it is LOL. She’s honest, straight forward and will tell you when you are wrong or overthinking situations. Crystal is also a big supporter and I’m so glad she’ll be by my side!!!

Hershey!!! The prettiest dark skin girl I know! My chocolate bar!!! We met in High School. We lived in the same neighborhood and I would pick Hersh up for school and we’d ride together. Sonic was def our spot before school every morning. Jasmine and I share several memorable moments. Some I can’t share publicly LOL. We are also (federal) with a bond that’s not easily broken. She and I were also pregnant at the same time and we shared many first. Hershey is the "stay on budget" friend and will let you know if it ain't her pay week before deciding to partake in any of the festivities (I WISH I HAD THAT DISCIPLINE). We all need that friend that will keep us humble and she definitely will. Don't let that pretty face fool you tho she can and will level up. Sis, thanks for being by my side.

I met Nat in Memphis at a church we use to attend. We became closer through small group bible study classes and attending events through the church. Nat is from Chicago and doesn’t meet a stranger. She makes everyone feel welcomed AFTER she's warmed up to you LOL. We could go weeks without talking but she’s always checking in and sending texts to motivate/lift you up. I wish I had the energy and patience she has. Nat is a smart and witty school teacher and a beacon of light to our youth. She also is a woman with many hustles and is all about her business when it comes to making money. I’m glad I can call her a friend. I miss those Southern Hands lunch dates in Memphis after church!!! I'm appreciative and so happy you’ll be by my side.

I remember as a kid I went outside with my razor scooter and rode around the neighborhood. I saw a lil light skin dude and said “damn that lil light skin dude got a big cranium!” and he replied “dang you fat!” and we’ve been homeboys ever since. Gee is the God Father/uncle to my children and I respect and trust him on all levels.

Roger is my lil brother AKA my lil headache sometimes. I’m proud of how far he’s come. He’s a great father to his one daughter. We both have busy lives and don’t really get to hang out as much as I would like but when we link up I enjoy being able to be a role model and chat about real life stuff with him. I met Lee my sophomore year of high school. We were team mates and he use to just come over to the house a chill. Lee is my go to guy for anything. At one time he encouraged me to go to trucking school but at that time it wasn’t right. Lee is one of the guys I look up to. I eventually went ahead and obtained my CDL’s after several conversations with Lee. Lee is a good dude and a good family man. I’m glad I can call him a friend.

Delly and I have been through a lot that many people wouldn’t understand. He’s also one of my go to guys, traveling partners, and he’s connected on many levels. I met Garrison when I was a teenager. We hung out in Madison where we use to hoop at Amqui. He would come hang out play the game and kick it with us at Gee house. Garrison is also a family oriented man. I love how he provides so effortlessly for his family. I met Dre in middle school. I didn’t really know anybody at Goodlettsville Middle. We played football together and he became like family. He would come by the house and attend family functions and events. Our friendship continued on through high school. When Dre comes over to the house we will watch football or actually football is going to watch him. This dude is def going to sleep. Dre is just one of those good dudes that’s dependable and I know if I call he’ll be there. It’s all love and I’m ready to go up with you Bruh.

Bandy and I use to be football enemies as kids. We played on different teams. We also played basketball on the same church team. In high school if you saw B you saw me and vise versa. B was one of the ones that introduced me to the grille. He’s def also a beast on the grille with them smoked wings. He will pull up and randomly just want to start the grill up no matter the time or weather condition. This dude will grille in the middle of a blizzard. Bruh is a damn good father and I respect how involved he is with all of his kids. You def can catch us just chillin late nights in the summer on the back porch just reminiscing and going up! My dad has always been an all around kind of guy! I remember growing up and weekends at his house was something I looked forward to doing. I always knew it would be a fun adventured filled weekend. Except when he made us watch fictional movies like ROOTS and write book reports and take test afterwards LOL. He has a soul of a teenager and enjoys keeping up with his grandchildren. My dad loves to cook and eat. His all time favorite meal has to be hamburger steaks because every time I call him that’s usually what’s for dinner. My dad must knows when I need to talk because every time I get ready to call him he usually is the one calling me. He is such a jokester, cool, calm and collective and rarely gets upset. My Ace boon coon. One of my favorite humans. My Mom is ALWAYS so supportive and on the scene. She’s the best nonnie ever! She loves Jaylee and Jazlyn so freely. She’s so dependable and whenever Jonah or I need her she’s always there for us. My mom is referred to as the “cool mom” my friends see her as apart of the gang LOL. Momma and I will spend hours on the phone gossiping about everything under the Sun. She knows I hate assembling things so when I need something put together honey I’m calling her because she’s a girl version of bob the builder. Growing up we definitely had our differences and we still do sometimes but that has made our bond incredibly solid. I can’t wait to experience one of the happiest days of my life with you around.
