For those guests who are not renting a car but still want to get to Galway to continue the celebrations. There is a train from Dublin to Galway. Irish Rail has several trips throughout the day.

There is another train option for guests that takes you from Kildare (which is where the wedding venue is) to Galway too. Renting a car in Ireland is super easy from the airport but driving on the country roads is a different story. The cost of a train ticket is very reasonable.

If you are looking to get a rental car, the airport is a great option. You might want to book a car in advance if you are not comfortable with a stick shift as there are fewer automatic vehicles available.
