Becker Vineyards
We have spent too many hours here enjoying countless tastings. Great atmosphere and even better wine. This winery is by far our favorite in Fredericksburg. Slate Mill Wine Collective
This is the wine we served at my sister's wedding! Slate Mill Wine Collective supports a diverse group of winemakers and wines grown throughout Texas with a single shared tasting room experience. The expansive estate features a 35-acre vineyard, restored historic homestead, custom crush facility and a tasting room that promotes hospitality, wine education, experimentation and discovery. Featuring nearly a dozen small brands produced in the property's cellar, visitors can sample by two-ounce tastings, glass or bottle. The relaxed and scenic estate allows guests to enjoy their wine experience either indoors or outdoors without feeling crowded or rushed. Altstadt Brewery
The newest attraction in Fredericksburg, Altstadt Brewery, is an authentic Bavarian brewery dedicated to creating the purest easy-drinking beers guided by the historic German purity law of 1516. Altstadt’s premium German-style beers are made using only four ingredients - hops, barley, yeast and artesian spring water. The 120-acre property located just outside of Fredericksburg features a restaurant, brewery tours and more.
Woerner's Warehouse Cafe + Catering
One of our favorite local lunch spots! Located in the iconic Woerner Feed Store in the heart of the abundant organic produce and wine region of the Texas Hill Country. Superb local suppliers and farmers provide herbs, organic tomatoes, peppers, fruits and vegetables year round. Every day guests enjoy the creative imagination of Chef Angela and her signature fresh salads, soups and jaw breaker sandwiches prepared at the peak of flavor. The daily specials reflect the abundant fresh, local produce and Chef Angela’s passion for clean, bright flavors are as beautiful to look at as they are delicious to eat. Gluten free breads and Vegetarian options are always available! Woerner’s also carries a wide variety of bottled beers and local wine.
