Get to know our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Renae Weast

Maid of Honor

I cannot thank God enough for giving me the most wonderful ‘baby sister’ I could have ever asked for. From the moment I saw a preschool classmate with their little sibling, a baby sister of my own was all I ever talked about. Renae is the most kind-hearted and selfless person I have ever met. Her college major and future career path in sociology demonstrates her natural desire to help anyone and everyone. I am so proud of the woman she has become. Having a sister is truly one of the greatest blessings. I cannot wait to have her stand by my side on the most special day of my life.

Monica Alden

Bridesmaid

The best thing I took away from 8th grade Integrated Science class was my life-long friendship with Monica. Then in high school, we definitely spent more hours playing cards in calculus class than actually doing math… and that didn’t stop when we got to college. From freshman K-Week events to our senior Society of Women Engineers banquet, Monica was always my constant throughout college. I love how we can just go for a long walk and feel like we can talk for hours. I wouldn’t trade our friendship for the world. It is an honor to have you alongside me on my wedding day.

Lauren Shelton

Bridesmaid

Can I just say, middle school was good to me! Lauren is another middle school blessing. Thank goodness she went to UK and we could prove our teachers wrong when they told us we would never stay connected in college. Being a small fish in a big pond at UK, Lauren was always someone who never left my side… or maybe I never left her side when I basically lived in her dorm room. Among all of the fun, we have shared some of the toughest things with each other. When I actually believed I was ‘chronically single’, she never doubted that I would one day find my person. I cannot thank you enough for always lifting me up when I needed it the most. Who knows, maybe one day I will become a Packers fan.

Grace Dean

Bridesmaid

My west coast gal and my thrift shopping pal! One day we will have tried every Mexican restaurant in Kentucky. It is never a dull moment with Gracie Dean! I never know what adventure we will go on next. She has such a fun and spontaneous personality. However, one of my favorite things about Grace is her heart to serve. You don’t even have to know her to receive her kindness. She truly embodies the definition of a servant of God. Thank you for making me a better person. Somehow, we both ended up thousands of miles from home and landed in Wilmore, Kentucky. It was not a coincidence, we were meant to be in each others lives.

Grace Mascha

Bridesmaid

Grace and I share a very special bond — we are ‘China Sister’. Surprisingly, I have known Grace longer than my own parents. We were together in an orphanage and adopted at the same time, along with three other wonderful ladies. Over the years, we have been lucky enough to remain close friends. It doesn’t even feel like we live hundreds of miles away. We could always relate to long distance dating and understand missing our guy. Regardless of anything, Grace never stops smiling! Her joyfulness is contagious, and you can’t help but smile along.

Claire Collett

Bridesmaid

Sometimes it’s hard to remember how a friendship began because you feel like you’ve known them forever. This is the case for Claire. I do know we met in a civil engineering class at UK. I honestly probably annoyed the crap out of her at first. But once we got past that part, we became two peas in a pod. You could always find us at a ‘free food’ event or living it up at Two Keys. Claire really spiced up my social life, but more than that, she let me be my unapologetic self. Everyone needs a Claire in their life!

Garrison Wright

Best Man

When Garrison was a couple weeks, I suggested that my parents return him to the hospital so that another family could "check him out" (I had extrapolated this idea from experiences with library books). I'm very glad that my parents ignored my advice. Gar has been a great little brother for the past 22 years, and I'm so glad to have him as my Best Man.

Calvin Wright

Best Man

While Calvin Wright is most widely known for his multi-platform, fantasy football content (#TheProFFet), I know him as my youngest brother. From playing two-hand-touch football in our backyard, to playing video games, to studying calculus, Cal is a blast to be around. I'm so glad to have him as my Best Man.

Cameron Collins

Groomsman

Cameron and I were both one-year-olds when we met, and over the past twenty-four years, I've always considered him to be one of my best friends. For the better part of two decades, my family travelled annually to Green Bay, Wisconsin, and we always spent two weeks with the Collins family. Those two weeks were perennially my favorite two weeks of the entire year. From flashlight tag and water fights to eight years of music camps, Cam and I have shared so many fun times together. I'm honored to have him as one of my groomsmen.

Jason Cornelius

Groomsman

I met Jason during my first NASA internship in 2017. Not only was Jason one of the more technically competent interns in the group, but he was also one of the most friendly. By the end of that summer, he was one of my best friends at NASA; our friendship has continued to grow over the past several years. I look forward to having him as a colleague throughout my career, and I'm thrilled to have him as one of my groomsmen.

Julie

Flower Girl

Julie is no doubt the cuter, younger version of myself (Jeni). The first time I met Julie, she was just five years old, and I was the new babysitter. She and her little brother, Tyler, warmed up to me quick. To no surprise, I instantly fell in love with these two. It’s hard to believe how quick they grow up. I always imagined Julie being my flower girl one day. I am so thankful to have this young lady be part of this special day.

Elijah

Ring Bearer

It’s safe to say, babysitting has been some of the most precious moments in my life. I had the blessing to babysit this little guy for the past two years until his family moved to Arkansas. Elijah stole my heart the first time I ever met him. One moment I will never forget is the first time he replied “I love you, too” as I put him to bed. I can’t wait to see Elijah walk down the aisle toward us.
