Wineries & Vineyards
One of our favorite things to do on the weekend is go to a local winery. Our all-time favorite is Lovers Leap Winery and Vineyard located in Lawrenceburg, KY. They even know us by name! Another favorite is one located just 15 minutes from our family's house called Wildside Winery and Vineyard. Be sure to check their website for tasting hours.
Bourbon Distilleries
Try one of Kentucky's bourbon distilleries. Buffalo Trace Distillery is located on the north side of Frankfort, KY with free tours and tastings. Wild Turkey and Four Roses Distillery is located in Lawrenceburg, KY. Woodford Reserve is on your way to Lexington/Wilmore (from I-64) right before you get to Versailles, KY. Needless to say, there are countless opportunities to try some Kentucky Bourbon!
University of Kentucky
Take a walk through UK campus and see where we spent four (or five) of the best years of our lives. The Arboretum is a perfect place to get some fresh air and enjoy the fall colors!
