Float the Moab Daily

Float the Moab Daily

422 Kane Creek Blvd, Moab, Utah 84523
, +14352105001

Our first big weekend trip together was a three day river float on the Green River. This was the weekend that we knew we were falling in love with each other and wanted this life together. 🥰 The Moab Daily is a 16 mile section of the Colorado River that you can river float on rafts and take in the grandeur of the epic Moab red rock. Rapids are class 1 (aka ripples), its a lazy river float but a great way to spend a hot day. Stand up paddle boards, rafts and shuttles info can be found at Wild West Voyages. It’s also pretty easy to self shuttle with two cars. The shop can help you pick a time/ distance as there are many take ins/outs. Older kid friendly.

Sick Rock ATV/Jeep Rental

Sick Rock ATV/Jeep Rental

ATVing/ Jeeping/ Mountain Biking/ Dirt Biking around Slick Rock is out of this world. The grippy rock creates a surface that (feels like it) defies gravity. Rent a jeep or atv and loop the park. Adventurous younger kid appropriate activity.

Arches National Park

Arches National Park

UT

Arches NP! Heads up: there is a reservation system for park access! BOOK IN ADVANCE at the rec.gov site provided above! Delicate Arch hike is a family favorite. It a popular 3 mile roundtrip, considered moderately challenging, with roughly 550 feet of elevation gain. This hike takes 2–3 hours, featuring steep slickrock, a narrow ledge, and little shade, often demanding sturdy footwear. Fit for adventurous kids.

Mill Creek Waterfall

Mill Creek Waterfall

Mill Creek Waterfall, Moab, Utah 84532

The 1.6-mile, out-and-back Mill Creek Trail winds through a beautiful canyon dotted with small natural pools. As you’re hiking, watch for petroglyphs and ancient habitation sights on the canyon’s cliff walls. Approximately 30 minutes into the hike (after several creek crossings with rock stepping stones), the beautiful Mill Creek Waterfall comes into view. This lovely destination features cascading waters and a sizable swimming hole that is ideal for cooling off on warmer days. Take a refreshing dip in the pool as you marvel at the towering canyon walls that surround you. Kid friendly activity! And more pools available as you continue the hike up if the first pools are too busy! Outhouses available at the trailhead.
