Man of Honor
Sparks flew when the Sutton and Haines families met at Geelong Hockey Club in 2006 – Between their mothers. Mark and Tash have been stuck with each other for 15 years since, despite often oceans between them. Incredibly supportive, constantly the devil’s advocate, and fiercely competitive, Mark is a true treasure in both Aaron and Tash’s lives. Plus, he introduced the pair to each other so he gets a seat at the table.
Best Man
Josh and Aaron met on the basketball court of St. Francis of the Fields Primary school in 2004 when they got into fist fight due to a disagreement with the referee. It was here they discovered a common interest.. Basketball... Friends since, Josh has been at Aaron’s side at every turn. As a pair, they have shown a tendency for terrible decision making and a love for encouraging each other to greater heights of folly. While they now proclaim to be 'changed men' their friendship remains as strong as ever. We don’t need to add any more.. Josh is well aware of what we like about him.
Bridesmaid
Em and Tash met at none other than Village Cinemas Jam Factory in 2017, where a steady love formed at the first trivia night from the moment Em said she had a bottle of Malibu at the ready in her car. An outrageously good friend and skilled peer-pressurer, she will be forever cherished as the best thing to come out of Tash’s time at Village with the exception of free movies.
Groomsman
Nathan and Aaron have spent the last two decades wreaking havoc on the peaceful lifestyle of Martin and Michelle. Whether it is catching rare Pokémon on the Gameboy, evading the police on Need for Speed Most Wanted, talking their parents out of imposing 'a grounding', winning basketball games or bonding over rap – Nathan and Aaron have supported each other year after year, through triumph and failure. Now that they are all (almost) grown up, it is fitting that Nathan will be present for this adventure as well.
