How do I get to the ceremony?

Answer

The Treasury Gardens are on Eastern edge of Melbourne's CBD. Parliament Station - 500m Flinders Street Station - 900m Tram Route 75 Stop 9, Lansdowne Street Tram Myki Free Zone, Flinders & Spring Street Parking: Paid parking on South Lansdowne Street, East Richmond

What time do I need to arrive to the ceremony?

The ceremony has a STRICT start time of 3:30pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior.

What about gifts?

Please see the registry section of this website for the online wishing well. There will also be a wishing well at the reception for cards and cash gifts.

What kind of reception is it?

Answer

The reception is standing cocktail with roaming canapes and bar service.

What if I have dietary requirements?

We will try to cater to your needs - Please include any dietary requirements on your RSVP.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Please note the ceremony will be an unplugged event, meaning no photos. We have hired a professional photographer to capture this special time and want to be able to see your faces, not your phones! At the reception, feel free to take as many photos as you wish!

What do I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The wedding party will be taking a few photos in between. You are welcome to see the list of bars we recommend, have a wander around the city, or pop back to your accommodation to freshen up before the party.

How do I get to the reception?

Answer

The Stolen Gem is on Bourke Street, close to the H&M building. Please note the entrance to the rooftop bar can be difficult to locate, it is between Curry Point and BUPA/OPSM, then head up the lift or stairs to level 8.

What time will it end?

Answer

The reception will end at 11pm, but don't worry, we'll be heading over to Heroes Karaoke Bar just down the road!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to ensure that everyone we love can attend despite possible COVID restrictions. Our wedding is RSVP only, and we can only accommodate those on your invitation.

Who do we address cards to?

Answer

Both Aaron and Natasha are keeping their own names. Please address cards to Mr Aaron Walshe and Ms Natasha Sutton.

What about COVID measures?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors at a garden - No issues here. The reception is a rooftop bar which is outdoors, and we are working closely with the venue to ensure COVID measures are taken seriously.

What about the weather?

Answer

For the ceremony, we'll get back to you closer to the date - You may need to bring an umbrella for 30 minutes! The reception venue has a retractable roof, there will be no need to stress about weather.
