FAQs

Question

Where should we stay in the area?

Answer

We have block rooms at The Denver Hilton Inverness. Please visit the Travel page for more information. You can book by clicking the link attached in the Travel information page or call the hotel directly at (303) 799-5800 between the hours of 9AM-5PM MST and reference the Stegall-Carl Wedding block.

Question

How do we get to the hotel from the airport?

Answer

If flying in to DIA, you can either rent a car, take a ride share service, or take the train. If taking the RTD train from the airport to the Hotel Denver Inverness, follow signs within the airport to "Ground Transportation" located near the South Security entrance. Please visit our travel page for more detailed information.

Question

How do we get to the wedding?

Answer

Parking is available at the venue, but absolutely NO cars can be left on the premises overnight. Therefore if any alcohol will be consumed, we suggest taking our provided shuttle. We highly encourage you to book your hotel room at the Hilton Denver Inverness, where our shuttles will be picking up and dropping off all guests. Our wedding location is in a rural area in the mountain countryside, and pickup is NOT guaranteed for ride shares like Uber or Lyft at the end of the night. Due to travel time and to ensure ceremony start time, the last shuttle will be leaving at 3PM sharp, so we encourage you to stay Friday evening as early check-ins are not guaranteed. Please note early check-ins are not always available the day of on Saturday. The hotel will be happy to hold your bags and check you in later that evening after the wedding concludes, but again, we highly suggest booking both Friday and Saturday night to ensure check in availability and to ensure you do not miss the shuttle.

Question

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

We want to ensure every guest is able to let loose and celebrate without the responsibility of watching your little ones, so we respectfully ask that children stay home for the evening.

Question

What is the altitude at Spruce Mountain Ranch?

Answer

For those who have never visited Colorado, you will be at altitude throughout your entire stay and we want you to be aware how this can possibly effect your health. The Hotel Denver Inverness is 5,830' elevation and Spruce Mountain Ranch is 7,300' above sea level. Please be advised that this level of altitude can very easily impact your health and we strongly advise you to know the signs and symptoms of altitude sickness, as this can be a very serious condition.

Question

What is altitude sickness?

Answer

Altitude sickness is brought on by rapid increase in elevation and low oxygen levels at these elevations. Symptoms include nausea, dizziness, light-headedness, shortness of breath, fatigue, headache, vomiting, and rapid heart rate. Shortness of breath due to altitude can effect and/or exacerbate underlying pulmonary issues, so we ask any guests with issues to please be aware of any symptoms and seek care if necessary. We highly suggest drinking a lot of water during your stay as these symptoms are due to lack of oxygen, and since H20 is full of, you guessed it, oxygen, it will help with the side effects tremendously. We urge you to stay hydrated FAR beyond your normal intake while visiting. Please be aware that consuming alcohol can also effect you differently and more easily at higher altitude. (AKA slow down and drink lots of water!!)

Question

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

If you have a food allergy or require certain dietary restrictions, we ask that you please let us know! You can email us your requirements to joesusannah@gmail.com. Our caterer will be happy to assist those that require special needs, however we must know this ahead of the big day so they are able to prepare.

Question

Question

What is the Colorado 5 Star Certification Program?

Answer

Colorado has a 5 Star Certification Program a program set up at the county level through an administrative committee who is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the program. It encourages businesses to implement safety measures beyond what is already required by public health orders and guidelines that will help slow the spread of COVID-19. 5 Star certification reassures employees and customers that businesses are adhering to enhanced guidance. The program is completely voluntary and also serves as an expanding directory of establishments recognized for their efforts to keep their communities safe and open.
