Here’s everything you need to know for a smooth and stress-free trip from India to Mexico. ✈️ Flight Info There are no direct flights from India to Cancun, so you’ll need to connect through major international hubs like Dubai, London, Frankfurt, or Doha. Popular airlines that operate this route include Emirates, Qatar Airways, British Airways, and Lufthansa. Total travel time is typically around 20–30 hours, depending on your layover. 🛂 Visa Requirements Indian passport holders do need a visa to enter Mexico. Apply for a Mexican Tourist Visa at your nearest Mexican Embassy or Consulate. You’ll need: Valid passport Resort booking confirmation Round-trip flight itinerary Proof of income/bank statements OR: If you already hold a valid U.S., UK, Canada, or Schengen visa, you can enter Mexico without applying for a separate Mexican visa.

If you're flying into Cancun International Airport (CUN), here are a few helpful tips to make your arrival smooth: Airport Code: CUN Arrival Tip: After landing, you’ll go through customs and immigration. This can take a little time, so be prepared for possible lines. Keep your passport and customs forms handy! Shuttle Pickup: Once outside, look for your pre-booked shuttle driver holding a sign with your name or shuttle company logo. Ignore the taxi drivers inside the terminal—they may try to sell you overpriced rides. Currency: Most places accept USD, but it’s helpful to carry some pesos for tips or smaller purchases. ATMs are available at the airport and resort. Time Zone: Cancun is in Eastern Standard Time (EST). Cell Service & Wi-Fi: Check with your provider for international plans. The resort has Wi-Fi throughout the property. 💡 Pro Tip: Screenshot or print your shuttle confirmation and resort address just in case Wi-Fi is spotty at the airport.
