It’s finally happening! We can’t wait for you to join us on our special day.

Way back in 2015, we were working together at Red Lobster in Tigard. We knew each other as acquaintances but had never really talked or hung out. Some mutual friends suggested we meet officially so we exchanged numbers and started texting. One night, while I was hanging out with my best friend, Samantha, I got a text from Joey asking if I wanted to meet up for a date. I wasn’t sure if it was the right time but Samantha encouraged me (thank goodness!) and so I left and met up with Joey. We had a great time talking and getting to know each other. In the beginning, I was only looking for a very casual thing. But as time went on and more time was spent together, feelings were growing quite strong. It was so easy to talk to Joey and we could laugh until the sun came up. I knew I was feeling more the day I saw Joey go back and hold the door for an elderly gentleman as we entered a store. It was in that moment that I knew he truly thought of others and I fell head over heels! I’m so grateful to the people who pushed us a little to really get to know each other. Now here we are all these years later and we are taking our relationship to the next level! En 2015, estuvimos trabajando juntos en Red Lobster en Tigard. Nos conocíamos como compañeros de trabajo porque nunca habíamos hablado. Algunos amigos en común sugirieron que nos conociéramos oficialmente, así que intercambiamos números y empezamos a enviar mensajes de texto. Una noche, mientras estaba con mi mejor amiga, Samantha, recibí un mensaje de texto de Joey preguntándome si quería que tuviéramos una cita. No estaba segura si era el momento adecuado, pero Samantha me animó (¡gracias a Dios!) Así que me fui y me reuní con Joey. Nos la pasamos muy bien hablando y conociéndonos. Al principio, solo buscaba algo muy informal. Pero a medida que pasaba el tiempo y pasabamos más tiempo juntos, los sentimientos se volvían bastante fuertes. Fue muy fácil hablar con Joey y poder reírnos hasta que saliera el sol. El día que vi a Joey devolverse y sostener la puerta para un Señor mayor cuando entramos en una tienda. ¡Fue en ese momento cuando supe que realmente pensaba en los demás y me enamoré! Estoy muy agradecida alas personas que nos empujaron un poco a conocernos de verdad. ¡Ahora aquí estamos todos estos años después y estamos llevando nuestra relación al siguiente nivel!
