FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sunny Singh Pandher and Amari Lenell Thompson
Everything you need to know before the celebrations begin, from attire and RSVPs to all the little details in between.
Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so looking forward to celebrating with everyone invited! Due to limited space, budget and our desire to keep the celebration intimate, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. If your invitation does not include a plus one, we kindly ask that you do not bring an additional guest. Thank you for understanding and respecting our guest list — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adults-only event on Saturday (Christian Ceremony & Reception). Our venue is not child-friendly, and we’re only able to accommodate the children in the bridal party and a few we’ve spoken to directly. We kindly ask that no other children attend. Thank you for understanding and respecting our wishes.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’ve included a full breakdown of the dress code for each event under the “Attire” section of our wedding website. Please check there for all the details!

Question

Will there be multiple wedding ceremonies?

Answer

Yes! Our fusion wedding will take place over several days, with different events and rituals leading up to the main celebrations. Our Sikh wedding ceremony will be held on June 26th, followed by our Christian wedding ceremony on June 27th. Each event is meaningful to us and represents a beautiful blend of our cultures and traditions.

Question

Do we have to attend both wedding ceremonies and all the events?

Answer

No, you don’t have to attend every ceremony or event! We completely understand that not everyone will be able to join for everything. Please RSVP only for the events you’re definitely planning to attend so we can ensure we have the proper headcount for the space and catering. Each ceremony and celebration means so much to us, and we’re truly grateful to have you join us for any part of the festivities.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 9th so we can finalize our guest count, seating, and meals. We must provide our vendors with a final headcount after this date, and no additions can be made once the deadline has passed. If you’re unable to attend the wedding or related events, please let us know by the RSVP deadline. We’ll miss celebrating with you, but your timely response helps us plan accordingly.

Question

Is the venue outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony and reception on June 27th will both take place outdoors, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We’ll have plenty of shaded areas, fans, and cooling mist fans to keep everyone comfortable while enjoying the celebration. We recommend dressing for the weather and wearing shoes that are comfortable for grass and outdoor spaces.

Question

What time should we arrive on June 27th?

Answer

Please plan to arrive and be seated by 5:15 PM so the ceremony can begin promptly. We kindly ask that guests arrive early to allow plenty of time for parking and settling in before the celebration begins.

Question

Do I need to cover my head for the Sikh wedding ceremony?

Answer

Yes! As part of Sikh tradition, guests are asked to cover their heads inside the Gurdwara (Sikh temple) as a sign of respect. Men may use a handkerchief, bandana, scarf, or turban, and women may use a chunni, bandana, scarf, or shawl. If you don’t have one, head coverings will be available at the temple. Please note that this also applies to the Paath (prayer service) on June 24th.

Question

Will there be drinks at the reception?

Answer

Yes. A curated selection of beer, wine, and cocktails will be available during the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

Will there be vegetarian options?

Answer

Yes! Our Sikh wedding ceremony (Anand Karaj) on June 26th will feature an entirely vegetarian menu, in keeping with Sikh tradition. Meals served during the Anand Karaj are always vegetarian. Our Christian wedding ceremony on June 27th will include meat and vegetarian dish options for everyone to enjoy.
